Headaches During Pregnancy

Headaches are another pregnancy rite of passage for many women. If you're reluctant to take acetaminophen (for example, Tylenol), which, by the way, is generally considered to be perfectly safe to take during pregnancy, you might want to try a few other techniques for getting rid of a headache:

  • Lie down with a cool cloth on your head.
  • Eat more frequently to keep your blood sugar on an even kilter.
  • Ask your partner to massage your feet. (The big toe is the acupuncture point for the head.)

if you are having headaches ladies please do not ignore them. I had seriously bad headaches beyond migrain for 3wks and i finally went to the ER they gave me morphine and it didn't cure I went home tried to ignore couldn't sleep the next night went back to the ER My doc told me to come into the office and what do you know my baby had been passed away in me for 3wks. the toxic waste from the fetus was causing my headaches and if it wasn't caught soon i could'vr died. So at 16wks they had to put me in labor and I had to push my baby out. Moral of the story LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!!!!!
