Biography

About Grady Spears: A Fort Worth native, Grady was founding chef at the famous Reata Restaurant, opening locations in Alpine, Fort Worth and California. He also cooked at the Gage Hotel in Marathon, Texas, and was partner in restaurant venues such as the Chisholm Club in Fort Worth and the Nutt House in Granbury, Texas. He is the author of several cookbooks, including The Texas Cowboy Kitchen, and has served as consultant on restaurants throughout Texas and in Las Vegas. Dutch's Hamburgers, another Lou-Grady creation, received notice in Texas Monthly's March 2008 story about the best new restaurants in Texas. In March 2008 Grady and noted Texas chef Louis Lambert opened Lambert's Fort Worth.
Grady has appeared on Good Morning America and the Today show and has starred with baseball legend Nolan Ryan in The Cowboy's Kitchen on the Food Network.
