Barbie Hahn

Barbie has been cooking since she was tall enough to reach to stove. Using her Grandmothers recipe box as a guidepost, she re-invents old famly recipes. As a Personal Chef, she loves taking others families recipes and making them for her clients. Barbie is a regular guest chef on the Fox 19 Morning News, where she prepare recipes as the "Suburban Chef (thesuburbanchef@vpweb.com)" Barbie also hosts a variety of cooking shows on local cable access channels. Acting as the guest Chef at the Anderson Farmers Market, Barbie teaches shoppers at the market how to cook with the best local ingredients. Recent accomplishments include, 2nd place in the Findlay Market Salsa Contest. 3rd Place in the Cincinnati Chili cook-off, and a top 20 finalist the Food Network Flayvors of Washington recipe contest. To provide a better connection between food sources and family, the Hahn's began raising 25 chickens for fresh eggs this year. Barbie has been married to Mike for 20 years, they live in Milford, OH. They have two wonderful sons, Alex and Elliot, who can often be found cooking with her at different events around the city.
