Beatty Cohan, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., is a nationally recognized psychotherapist and author who is in private practice in Sarasota, Florida. She has a master's degree in clinical social work from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and has postgraduate specialization in marital and family therapy and sexual dysfunction. She has had over 35 years of clinical experience and has been interviewed on national television and radio. In addition, she has published numerous articles in newspapers and magazines and given hundreds of lectures and workshops on relationships.
Beatty writes "Ask Beatty" advice columns for local newspapers and for Match.com. She is the coauthor of the book For Better, For Worse, Forever: Discover the Path to Lasting Love. Beatty has been interviewed by dozens of magazines, including Ladies Home Journal, Parents and Cosmopolitan, who seek her expert advice in the area of relationships.
Beatty's greatest achievement is having a wonderful and loving relationship with husband, Elliot, and with her 23-year-old daughter, Jordana, who is a theater student in England.
