Dr. Elaine Fogel Schneider

Elaine Fogel Schneider, Ph.D., is an award-winning licensed and certified speech and language pathologist currently on faculty in California's state university system. In addition to her standing as a certified group psychotherapist, Dr. Schneider is also a registered dance/movement therapist; a state trainer for early interventionists for both teachers and parents; a governor appointee to the State of California's Early Start's Interagency Coordinating Council for infants and toddlers and their families; and founder of the TouchTime Institute, an organization designed to provide information, educational opportunities and "hands-on" training to help build parent-child relationships that will last a lifetime.

Dr. Fogel Schneider's latest book, Massaging Your Baby: The Joy of Touch Time, leads the field of communication by bringing together the areas of touch and parent-child communication and has recently received national attention in Parents magazine.

In addition to her frequent appearances at parenting and professional conferences, Dr. Schneider has presented for U.N.E.S.C.O.
