Dr. Gerald Bernstein

Gerald Bernstein, M.D., F.A.C.P., is codirector of the diabetes management program of the Gerald J. Friedman Diabetes Institute at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. He is the author of many clinical and peer-reviewed papers, as well as the book If It Runs in the Family: Diabetes. Dr. Bernstein is a past president of the American Diabetes Association and currently serves on its national board of directors. He is vice president for medical affairs for Generex Biotechnology and an associate professor of medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
