Biography
Howard Gurr, Ph.D., has earned two master's degrees in psychology and a Ph.D. in professional psychology with a dual specialization in clinical and school psychology. He is both a certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist in New York State.
For over 25 years, Dr. Gurr has been affiliated with hospitals, clinics and school districts on Long Island. He is a member of many professional groups and was a member of the executive board of the Nassau County Psychological Association. Dr. Gurr has been a field supervisor for graduate students from local colleges and universities. He has written articles and has been quoted in newspapers, heard on the radio and seen on television speaking on a wide variety of psychologically related topics.
