Iman Sharif, M.D., M.P.H., is the research director of the Social Pediatrics residency training program at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore and an associate professor of clinical pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She practices general pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Group in the Bronx, NY. Dr. Sharif is also a trainer for Reach Out and Read of Greater New York, a pediatric literacy promotion program that encourages doctors to talk to parents about reading to their children, and to give each child a free, new & developmentally appropriate book at every well-child visit.
