Biography

Dr. Kathleen D'Ovidio is assistant professor of food science in the food science and management department at Delaware Valley College in Pennsylvania. She is an expert in food microbiology, food contamination and food-borne illness. Dr. D'Ovidio received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. She has cowritten papers on food safety for research journals and the International Society for Horticultural Science.
