Biography

Patricia M. Berliner, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Ozone Park, NY, where she specializes in individual psychotherapy with adults. Her experience is as a psychotherapist, disaster and trauma responder and counselor and founder of Elizabeth's House and Women for a New World, through which she has offered myriad holistic psychospiritual workshops and programs throughout the country.
Berliner is the author of many articles on women's issues, wellness, psycho-spiritual development and disaster response. She is a member of the advisory board of the Dr. Phil show, the Red Cross of Greater New York Disaster Mental Health Leadership Team and the New York State Psychological Association Public Relations Network. Berliner has been honored by membership in several Who's Who publications, and is author of Touching Your Lifethread, Revaluing the Feminine: A Psychospiritual Process of Change and of a children's book related to dealing with death of a family member at home hospice. She is a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Brentwood, NY.
