Biography
Rubina Mason, R.N., has dedicated her career to women and children. She has been working with newborn infants and pregnant and postpartum moms for almost 30 years. Fluent in Spanish and English, Mason is an energetic and resourceful health care provider. As a nurse who worked in the postpartum and neonatal intensive care units (NICU) at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, Children's National Medical Center and Washington Hospital Center, Mason knows the importance of doing what's best for the baby. In order to help new and expecting moms, Mason became a certified childbirth educator and international board-certified lactation consultant.
Since becoming a certified lactation consultant, Mason works hard to encourage breastfeeding and has helped hundreds of new moms provide the best nutrition for their babies breastmilk. As a member of the Lansinoh Breastfeeding Advisory Board, Mason continues to support moms first beginning to breastfeed as well as those who have already established a breastfeeding routine so that they can continue to successfully nurse their children.
