Biography

Tamara Nix, M.D., is an assistant professor of general pediatrics and codirector of the general care nursery at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. Her areas of interest include newborn care, breastfeeding promotion and childhood asthma. She received her education at Vanderbilt University Medical School and did her clinical training in pediatrics at the University of Chicago. Dr. Nix is a mother of one, with another on the way.
