Biography
Dr. Yousha K. Mirza is an assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences at Wayne State University School of Medicine and staff psychiatrist at Children's Hospital of Michigan. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Mirza completed his residency in General Psychiatry and then a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Wayne State University and the Detroit Medical Center. He served as chief resident during his residency and fellowship programs. He then went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship in brain imaging of pediatric psychiatric disorders at Children's Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Mirza was also the recipient of the Janssen Psychiatry Resident Award of Excellence, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) Outstanding Resident Award and the Robinson-Cunningham Research Award by the AACAP for Best Publication.
