Kristin Wilson Keppler & Julianna W. Miner

Author

Biography

Kristin Wilson Keppler (left), known as Kate at Rants From MommyLand, also writes the humorous parenting column Maternal Ammunition for The Washington Times communities with her partner in crime, Julianna W. Miner and is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post.

She is mom to the three Indoor Homeless People, so named because they don't have jobs, beg her for food and money, are frequently unbathed, and rarely brush their teeth. She's been married twice, though not at the same time—because that's illegal—and lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC.

In addition to her very glamorous home life, Kristin is a television producer for the BBC. She earned her BA in History from the University of Missouri. And, though she learned about all the fabulous mistakes made throughout the centuries, none of that knowledge prevents her from making her own spectacular parenting and professional blunders. Like the fact that her kids know way too much about politics, and her bosses know way too much about her kids.

Julianna W. Miner (right) is one half of the successful humor blog Rants From MommyLand and writes a very goofy parenting column called Maternal Ammunitionfor the Washington Times communities with her partner in mayhem Kristin Wilson Keppler. Julie is also a regular contributor to the comedy page of The Huffington Post.

She has a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MPH from the University of Michigan. She adores her three small children, in spite of the fact that they're little terror suspects. Julie has been both a stay at home and working mom and found both to be exhausting. She is currently a stay at home mom and would appreciate it very much if people would stop saying that she "doesn't work anymore". Like a bad folk song, her house is always dirty but the food is always good. She lives in suburban Washington, DC.
