MAC has written for Popular Science magazine, interviewing NASA scientists and covering topics ranging from asteroids to weapons design. Born and raised in Manhattan, MAC first started writing Anna Smudge: Professional Shrink (book one of the mystery series The Professionals) on the backs of dozens of order pads while waiting tables at a downtown diner.
