Dr. Marc Weissbluth

Dr. Marc Weissbluth is a pediatrician with a private practice in Chicago and also a staff member of Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago who is a leading researcher on sleep and children. He founded the original Sleep Disorders Center at Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago in 1985 and is also a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. For more than 30 years, he has specialized in infant and child development, colic/crying, and childhood sleep problems. He is also the author of numerous publications, including books for parents such as Crybabies, Sweet Baby: How to Soothe Your Newborn, Your Fussy Baby, Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child, and the upcoming Health Sleep Habits, Happy Twins: A Step-by-Step Program for Sleep-Training Your Multiples. Dr. Weissbluth and his wife of 43 years, Linda, are the parents of four sons and six grandchildren—and they are all good sleepers.
