I'm the host of the PBS show "Daring Kids with Miriam Peskowitz" and an expert on play - from hopscotch and birdhouse making, to tag and tree-swings. I'm also the author of the best-selling book "The Daring Book for Girls." But first and foremost, I am a mother of two who understands the value of carefree play and the importance of giving kids time to act like kids.
