Thanks for checking out our Write On! caption contest!
Each week on our Write On! contest page we'll serve up a new image for you to caption. Get your funny on and create as many hilarious, hysterical, have-us-LOLing captions you can think of! (Just keep it clean, please! We don't do potty mouth 'round here!)
Every caption you submit will be eligible to be selected as the, duh, WINNING! caption of the week. (Hey, Charlie Sheen doesn't own that word!) And, as the winner, we'll shower your caption with fame and glory ... and a cute little banner that tells the world you won. Contests will run for one week, starting on Fridays, but you'll always know exactly how long you have left to enter. Just check out the handy countdown timer on each contest (no pressure, or anything).
But that's not all, folks!
Every day you vote on the hilarious captions in our weekly contests, you'll automatically be entered to win a weekly sweepstakes! (See how we did that? Two ways to win at once!)
If you read the paragraph at the top of each contest—and we hope you do (that stuff doesn't write itself, you know)—you'll learn about the awesome prize you'll be automatically entered to win when you vote. You can vote for as many captions as you want, but can only vote one time per caption. You'll be entered into the sweepstakes once per day, regardless of how many times you vote, so remember to come back to vote daily for more chances to win! The weekly sweepstakes winner will be randomly selected from all the entries. (The official rules for each sweepstakes—including a lot of legal language—are linked in the description at the top of each contest page, too.)
