    TRICK OR TREAT!

I'm Melissa, your Halloween Hostess here on Parents Connect!

I live for Halloween!  I'm a total sucker for fake blood, vampires and the magical world of fairies and princesses. Unfortunately Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson will not be joining us here, but rumor has it that up Taylor Lautner might!? (Just kidding...unless he's posing as a mom with three kids from Kansas!)

Over the next 31 days I'm going to bring you a mix of Spooktacular Halloween ideas and Fangtastic PRIZES!

It's gonna be so much fun, it's SCARY!

So, introduce yourself below, tell me what you and your kids are going to be for Halloween this year and get ready to BOO-gie down!

(Yes, my son IS picking his nose through his mask!)

Hello my name is Anita, I have a 4 yr old daughter who will be a butterfly fairy with jester sidekick (her dog- a boston terrior) She loves nick jr and has been telling me to go on parents connect for awhile so here I am I just signed up today with her by my side. Now she is kicking me off so she can play her games on nickJr.com. She loves the games they have and I don't mind her playing especially the learning games. And we love the crafts and ideas that are on the sites and will be doing a lot of them. Everyone have a wonderful season and a spooktakular halloween :)

Hey!  I'm Christina.  I'm the proud mommy of a little boy, and an beautiful angel in heaven.  I like Halloween, although I never really got to celebrate it when I was little.  My mom was so torn as to whether or not she should let us.  One year she would, the next she wouldn't.  My husband's mom never let him, he's actually never even been trick or treating.  So, we're dressing up this year, even though my son will only be 4 months, we are either going to go out or dress up and stay in.  I don't want to get the one sick.

I was not born in this country, I'm for Guyana (a country in South America) I came here when  I was 9...we never had Halloween. I grew up on long island (suffolk county) and Halloween is really big there so i got to experence it to the fullest, from haunted houses, ghost stories, etc... I have to say this is one of my top 3 holidays.  My daughter is 2 and she has been dressing up from birth. On her first halloween she was a Jack-o-lantern, last year she was a pirate and this year she will be a bumble bee.

My birthday is on Halloween so I've always loved this day for fun and fantasy.  Over the years I've made lots of costumes for my kids and dressed up myself for the traditional neighborhood party.  Here's to a great Halloween!

I have a love - hate relationship with Halloween as it is my birthday...no fun as a kid since parties were NEVER on my real birthday!  Now not as fun because my kids are too psyched up about Halloween to care about birthday cake - and a terrible night to try and get a babysitter!  Sometimes I'd prefer to be a Nov 1 baby!  But on the flip side - lots of people DO remember my brithday as it is a tad unusual...so some good, some bad - it is what it is!

Hi everyone! I absolutely love Halloween. I am a young mother and I still get so excited when halloween comes around. My son was a pirate for halloween 2 years ago, tigger last year, and this year he is going to be a really cool ninja. Halloween is just a really fun, and exciting holiday for the kids. I love it because our kids get to dress up and be whatever they want to be and they enjoy it so much. They get to pick and decorate pumpkins and just have a blast with everything that comes with Halloween. I am not sure what I am going to be yet. But I know it is going to be something spoogoultactular!

Hi! I'm Nancy. I'm a mom to a 5YO girl who will be a mermaid this year and a 2YO Bob the Builder wannabe. We'll be setting some new family traditions this year by Trick-or-treating with Shamu at Sea World. Let's hope these costumes are waterproof, or, at the very least, quick dry!

Hi I'm Karen! *everyone chorus 'hi karen'*

Halloween is just the start of my favorite time of year. Connor will be 10 months old and he's going as the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. I'm still not sure if I should be Alice or the Cheshire Cat(my fave). Still working on getting Daddy to consider dressing up:)

I plan to go out and get an absolutely huge pumpkin and carve it for little man. Next year I'll let him attack one with stickers and fingerpaints

I love Halloween!! My kids do to so I'm glad. My 6year old is going to be Wolverine for one of the events we will be going to and then Michael Jackson to another. He is obsessed with dancing like the king of pop. My 3 year old will be Princess Belle (grandma is making her costume) and Cinderella.

We plan on going pumpkin picking and a corn maze this weekend in Queens. I would love to go to a grownup party but haven't been invited to one yet. Bummer. I would love to go as Cleopatra!
