Girls' Names

... are both French speakers, and we have a 2 year old son named Aloïs.

We are expecting a little girl for mid-September, and as always, finding an appropriate name takes time and effort. We settled on two names that we both liked. But since we are not English speakers and we know nothing about the UK, I would have liked to know how these first names would be perceived over there. Could you let me know whether you like, dislike, don't care, or any other advise, these two first names:

- Meline (Melina)
- Clementine

Both are rare in French, which we like, and we kind of prefer Clémentine although I do have some misgivings about the association with the fruit.
