I would love to win either prize.  Our cheap summer fun includes running in the sprinkler; splashing in the pool, riding bikes and (according to my kids) the best part - popsicles.  We love to make smores too.

I would love to win spending money for our days at the beach.  We pack a lunch and cold drinks for the cooler, our umbrella and plenty of sunscreen. Playing in the water and the sand wears everyone out, and we all sleep great.    It's my favorite way to spend a hot summer day.

We take advantage of free concerts in our county parks.  With a picnic dinner, great music, and plenty of space for the kids to run around, it's a cheap and fun evening out.

We would love to win!  Recently we went and bought some sand from a local gravel seller.   We spent $18 on the load of sand.  We put the sand in the unused bottom section of our kids playcenter.  We all love playing in it -- it is just like being at the beach.   And since it is on the bottom of the playcenter, we get lots of shade.  If you don't have an existing place to use, anyone could easily take four  2" X 8" boards and nail them together to make a frame, put in a weed barrier fabric on the bottom, and then put in the sand -- instant fun.

You know what I find is messy but great  'hand painting'. Last year we made a hand shirt for Daddy on Fathers Day. I remember i had paint on my walls so next time we are going to paint outside.

It would be great to win! Then we could do something that is not so hot for poor preggo mom.

We have been doing not much else other than relaxing in our little blow-up pool in the backyard. I finally found a way to easily empty the water every couple of days, now. Should've figured out this long ago!
