| 1 | Mix still-frozen peaches, 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. Set aside.

| 2 | With an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar until creamy. Add baking powder and flour. Slowly pour in buttermilk. Mixture should be soft.

| 3 | Spray cooking spray in 9 X 13 pan. Pour flour mixture into pan and spread evenly with rubber spatula.

| 4 | Cover flour mixture with prepared peaches.
|
| 5 | Melt 1 tbsp. butter in boiling water. Pour water over peaches. Don't worry... you haven't drowned your cobbler even though it may look like it!

| 6 | Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
