Sending your kids off to daycare, preschool, elementary school, the park... sometimes feels a little like sending them into the infectious-disease ward at the local hospital. And while disinfecting your kids in a Lysol bath isn't an option, it'd be nice to be able to sanitize them … just a little.

The Nozin

Nozin. We like to think of this as a slightly saner option to building your kid a germ-free bubble suit to wear to outside the house. Nozin is an alcohol- and plant-based sanitizing solution that is designed to fight cold-causing germs in the nose. Swab a little of the citrus scented solution just inside your kid's nostrils for eight hours of germ resistance. Yeah, it's just as gross as lubricating your nostrils with Zicam. But compare that to dealing with green snot streamers and we think we have a winner.

I swear by this I tried it on my children and husband. Yes the alcohol at first is a bit on the strong side but I taught my children who are 2 and 8 to breath out once while swabbing and the stinging is not there just a citrus smell. Its perfect and it really has seemed to help my household.

I used this product on my 6 year old daughter and it stung her nose. I had to wash it out quickly. Prefer to use saline water as my doctor recommended.

I'm going to get this and take it with me everywhere! My kids school is probably less germy than the book store or the playground. At least they clean things there! haha.

I wonder if this is any different than using kids' Airborne or Emergen-C. We use this religiously in the winter and it works wonders.
