It seems like stretch mark prevention has gone the way of weight loss remedies. Everybody's got a surefire product and, for a small fortune, you too can have a brand-new cream that might just work… except nobody has proven that anything will. Forget new and improved; sometimes there's nothing as soothing as familiarity and reliability.

If you must spend money on stretch mark prevention, doesn't it make sense to trust a brand that's been around forever? Palmer's Massage Cream combines collagen, elastin and vitamin E—three ingredients that help keep your skin supple. And while there's no guarantee it'll keep the stretch marks away, it does feel awfully good going on. Plus, the chocolatey scent is every pregnant gal's dream. Let those new-fangled formulas try beating that for about the cost of a cappuccino.

I USED TO BE a huge fan of the product... I do not like the fact that they put propylene glycol into the mix... From what I understand, it has been linked to cancer...In that propylene glycol PREVENTS the liver from cleansing away cancerous agents from the body. It was years ago that I heard about this, so I did some more research lately...And it's been linked to putting infants into stupor, and some other nasty things. It's just a shame that so many products contain this ingredient :(

YES!!! 37 weeks with my SECOND and still, NO STRETCH MARKS! I'm not kidding. I use the lotion all over and really massage it in on my tummy, hips, booty and thighs. Sometimes when I want to indulge, I use the tummy oil too. It may not work for everybody, but what can you say to 2 pregnancies and no marks AT ALL while using this lotion, hmmm?

It's a funny product in that they also offer a "Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream", which is actually a different item alltogether. I found the Cream worked beter than the Lotion. They also have a spray oil for itchy bellies which is magnificent!
