You Decide: How to Keep the Kids From Climbing the Walls On a Snow Day
When the wonder of the white stuff wears off, what are the best ways to keep the kids busy on a loooong day indoors? Vote on all of these awesome (if we do say so ourselves) ideas!
Play Tax Man
Let the kids earn their keep by having them sort your tax return receipts! ("Yes, honey, the one with all the shoes on it goes in the 'Deductions' pile!")
Reach Out & Touch EVERYBODY
Skype everyone you know and let the kids perform every song they've ever learned ... twice.
Build a Fort
Use every pillow, blanket and Lego around to make a super-dark spot for naps ... for Mom!
Role Play
Have the kids be "mom" for the day so they can do all the cooking and cleaning while you whine, pick your nose and play with your "toys" (hello iPad!).
Have a Spa Day
Talk the kids into playing masseuse and have them pamper you with a back rub. (Hey, it'll be good for their fine motor skill development!)
