Whether it's your mother-in-law, a great-aunt you only see once a year or some kooky lady you've never met before in your life, someone's bound to beg to hold your baby. All. Day. Long. If you're particularly sleep-deprived, then hand the kid over and go curl up for a nap. If the person with her arms outstretched makes you or your child feel uncomfortable, politely explain that your child's having separation anxiety and excuse yourself.
