Building Your Kid's Brain
Play the Name Game
Point out sounds in your environment and ask your kid to name them. (If you can even hear 'em through your kid's whining!) When you hear a dog bark, ask your kid to tell you what she hears. You'll be working on her observational and listening skills, which are key to learning. Not to mention they'll come in really handy the next time you want her to listen to YOU!
