Why buy a card someone else made when you can create a Father's Day craft that Dad can proudly display at his workplace or on the refrigerator for everyone to see? Not all homemade cards are created alike. Here's how your kids can make a homemade Father's Day card that Dad will cherish.
- 8 1/2" by 11" sheet of construction paper
- Colored pens
- Sticker
- Envelope
Fold both sides of paper inward so the ends meet. You might want to help your little one line up the edges of the paper so they line up evenly.
When folded, the card should look like a set of "double doors".
Open the "doors" of thise card Father's Day craft and let your child draw a picture of Dad in the center.
On the inside, write the words: "Daddy's Home!"
Fold the doors closed and write the words: "My two favorite words are..."
Use a decorative sticker to secure the doors of this Father's Day craft closed.
Place the homemade Father's Day card in an envelope and give it to Dad.
- A little creativity and a lot of love make this Father's Day craft a special memento Dad will cherish forever.
