Tired of the same old tie selection for Dad? Do you stand in the men's department at the mall, pondering, "red or yellow this year?" Make a Father's Day craft he'll proudly wear—his own personalized tie.
- Inexpensive, light-colored tie
- Fabric markers
- Balloon
- Ribbon
Buy a light-colored tie.
Decorate this fun Father's Day craft with fabric-safe colored pens with Dad's favorite cartoon characters, sports equipment or wild designs.
Write "To the Best Dad" or "Happy Father's Day" on the tie.
Roll up the tie and stuff it into a large balloon.
Inflate the balloon tie it off with ribbon, and tie the ribbon to Dad's bedroom door early in the morning.
When he finds the balloon, have him pop it to retrieve his Dad's Day gift—a tie from the kids.
Ask him to wear the personalized tie the rest of the day!
- This Father's Day craft is as fun to make as it is to present to Dad. You can add another personal touch with a Father's Day card designed like a home.
