You know your kid can pick your face out of a crowd, but how about your hand or foot? See if your child can match up paper cutouts of family members' extremities with the real things with this educational game. Mom, don't be offended if he thinks Daddy's footsie cutout belongs to you. Remember, everything looks much bigger when you're little!
  • Construction or printer paper
  • Pen or pencil
  • Scissors
  • Hands and feet:
    Mom's, Dad's, your kid's.
  • 1
Have your child place his hand palm down on a piece of paper.
  • 2
Trace his hand with the pen or pencil.
  • 3
Help him cut out his handprint.
  • 4
Now trace and cut out everybody's hands: Mom's, Grandma's, Daddy's, the babysitter's and so on. The more hands, the merrier! Heck, even trace a few paws while you're at it!
  • 5
Place all of the cutouts in a pile.
  • 6
Have everyone sit on their hands so no one can peek at them (feels nice and warm, right?).
  • 7
Ask your child to guess which hand belongs to which person.
  • 8
When he correctly matches them up, give him a big hand!
  • 9
    Repeat with feet.
