Every child has a favorite fictional character, whether it's a superhero or a cartoon figure or from a book. Use one as the theme for a quick draw project!
- Computer and Printer
- Tracing Paper
- Pencil
Go online and print out a photo or image of the character that is large enough to be traced.
Have your kid trace the image onto tracing paper.
Scan the image into your computer and either post or email the drawing for instant feedback from adoring relatives, or use software to refine it, add color, or plug in other small touches.
- The excitement of seeing their favorite character on their drawing will make your kids more likely to do this again. It also teaches beginning drawing skills!
