Activities for Kids When They're Bored

Avoid the dreaded "I'm bored" (and the potential for glue-in-the-dog's-fur disasters) by writing kid-friendly activities on strips of paper. Staple the strips together to make a paper chain and every time they're bored, have them tear off a link. That boredom suddenly becomes, "Draw a picture of a lion," "Make a domino chain," "Have a board game tournament" or "Give mom a massage."
