Independant Play Activities for Your Kid

Next time you're getting ready to cook dinner, hand your kid a mixing bowl and a few spoons and invite him to whip up an imaginary dish. Or, during playtime, start off stacking blocks, like those from the PLAYSKOOL CLIPO sets (each sold separately), together but then gradually go on to another activity nearby while your kid carries on.
