Pinecone Bird Feeder Outdoor Activity

The family will love watching birds eat from their homemade pinecone bird feeder! A great outdoor activity for kids.
  • A good-size pinecone
  • Peanut butter
  • Seeds (any kind, or can be an assortment)
  • String to hang them up
  • 1
    Make sure the pinecone is clean.
  • 2
    Squish peanut butter into the pinecone. Fill up all the nooks and crannies. (The kids will love this part!)
  • 3
    Roll the peanut butter-filled pinecone in the seeds.
  • 4
    Tie a string around the top and hang it on a tree limb.
  • 5
    Now sit back and watch the birds eat! (Oh, and don't forget to wash your hands!)
