The Ice Cream Scoop Game

This ice-cream themed game is guaranteed to entertain.

    Fill the water balloons with water.
  • 2
    Fold the poster board into a cone shape and staple it closed. Give one to each kid. (You can also decorate the cones if you have time.)

    Select a Dipper. The dipper (could be you, mom or dad, since everyone's gonna wanna cone) can either stand from an elevated surface (a porch or stairwell, for example) and drop the balloons toward the ground, or throw the balloons in the air and have the kids run to catch them.
  • 4
    The Scoopers (kids with cones) have to try and catch as many water balloons as possible in their cones. Make it an activity (just for fun) or a game(for prizes!)—the person with the most scoops of ice cream at the end wins! (And if you miss, you get wet!)
