All About Diapers: Alternative to Diaper Genie Refills

When we moved from the U.S. to the U.K., we really struggled to find refills for our Diaper Genie II and had to order them specially. In a pinch one day, we just tried using a normal kitchen bin liner, and it works perfectly and with much less expense. Just tuck it through the spring-loaded opening, lift the lid and pull the bag down over the edges.
It does have to be changed a little more often, but you don't get that nasty sausage with the contents of the nappy on display anymore, which is another bonus!
