Hannah Grace's Birth Story

She was my first baby, so I didn't really know how anything was supposed to feel or go or anything like that. I had a little pain in my tummy that I thought was contraction (or maybe I just wanted it to be contraction).
It was 10:20 pm on 08/19 and I had my mother-in-law take me to the hospital. Josh and my parents met us there, and the nurse told us that they would induce me the next morning because of my high blood pressure. They gave me medicine that made me soooo sleepy and started my pitocin at 5 am.
My water broke on its o wn at about 1 pm (My dad told me I was just peeing on myself!! lol) and at 3 pm I got my epidural. I started pushing at 6 pm and at 07:59pm, after 2 hours of pushing, out came Hannah!
She wasn't breathing on her own, and didn't pass the APGAR within 5 minutes, so they took her to the NICU. I didn't even get her in my room until the day we went home, the 22nd.
