Jacob Andrew's Birth Story

Well to make a long story short, here is my birth story in a nutshell...
I was scheduled to be induced on the 17th of Dec. My husband and I arrived at the hospital at 4:45am. We went up to our room and got settled in. They started my IV and at 5:30 am they started the Pitocin. At 7:40 am the doctor came in a broke my water, I was 4cms, 60% effaced and his head was -1.
I got my epidural put in at about 8:15am. At roughly 9:30am I was feeling some pressure, so the nurse checked me and I was 9cms, fully effaced, and his head was +1. So they called the doctor and let her know I was almost ready.
They got everything together and then around 11:15 am I was told it was 'go time'. I started to push at 11:27 am and after a hour and a half of pushing our precious little boy was born at 12:59pm. He was 7lbs 1.2oz and 20inches long.
We have never been so happy in our life. He is the greatest blessing and we are so thrilled to have him!!!!
