I was having my third baby at a completely different hospital than the first 2. I felt horrible after the other 2 c-sections, so I just assumed I would feel like I wanted to die after this one. But I didn't!
I was in a very tolerable amount of pain. I could get up and walk around my room at the hospital with ease. I did have trouble getting up and down and laying down—all normal for major abdominal surgery. At home I barely used the pain meds. I was doing laundry and was even back to work 3 weeks after baby. I sorta wish I hadn't decided that was my last child.
