I was induced and had a natural birth with both my kids. That's right no epidural! I was in labor with my daughter for 6 1/2 hrs and then 2 pushes later my beautiful little girl came into this world, weighing 6 lbs 12 1/2 oz. They wouldn't let me hold her right away because she wasn't as pink as they liked, but she was okay after she went to the nursery.

Then almost 4 years later I had her brother, but this time i was in labor for 9 long and painful hours. I had to go through 2 doctors trying to break my bag of water before it finally got broke when I was 5 cm. Then I stayed at 5 for maybe 2-3 hrs. On the third hour I finally got to 7 cm. The doctor left to check another patient and no sooner than he left, I rang the call button and he came back and checked me and I was 10 cm! In a matter of like 2 minutes! No kidding, huh?! So maybe 20-30 minutes later, my baby boy was born weighing 7lbs 4 1/2 ozs. I got to hold him right away and I had him for an hour before they took him to the nursery to get cleaned up!

So even though I had an all natural delivery with pitocin with both my kids, knowing how much it hurt, I would do it a million times more knowing I get a beautiful baby at the end!! Those are my birth stories. I hope you like them.
