delivery experience like no other!

you will probably hear crazy and horrific stories but,don't put yourself in that mind frame.it doesn't all have to be bad...and don't expect it to be all fantastic either.i've had two boys,vaginal and with an epidural.my first was worry free!great test results/perfect xrays.my contractions started after i did the deed (i didnt believe it would cause contractions).i wanted to wait for my water to break and he said no way and called my doctor whom told me to come in(i really didnt want to be that woman who went in just b/c she felt a twinge).the doc took me in b4 the woman who was actually in labor,wich i did tell the doc 2 take her b4 me and she simply said that i had called in,thats the rules.they told me 2 get naked and being my first time i left my underwear and bra on..how embarassing.need less 2 say i ended up taking both off.i had came in late and was told that if i wanted the epidural id have 2 get it now b/c the doc was leaving 4 the night.a fast decision was yes give me the drugs!i didnt even break my water at that point.it did break within the hours wait.the man sleepily walked in and took an hour to ramming this needle in my spine asking me if i had scroliosis.wich was painful and freaked me out.i believe now that "leaning on my partner" was the cause of my pain.the epidural made me sick!most b/c the man pushed the damn button 4 times! injecting me 2 make up 4 the pain he caused.so the nurse says we have 2 inject u with a burning liquid 2 stop the puking.yeah that was fun!the nurse made it as painless as possible she did it slowly,but this stuff also had a negative affect on me.i literally went in 2 a coma like state i could hear everything but my eye lids were so heavy and i couldnt think right.i seriously ended up craping my bed and ended up touching it (oh that poor nurse)so someone had 2 change my bedding and wash my hands 4 me.i was soo out of it that i didnt get 2 c my baby untill i woke up (sane)a couple hours later 2 find a room full of my family and my baby in daddys arms but, that was the sweetest thing...he heard my voice and turned his little head 2 look @ me!but i was the last 1 to hold him though :(
