Kristin's Birth Story

When I found out I was pregnant I had about 4 ultrasounds telling me that Kristin was a boy, so I picked out the name Darrian Matthew.
Pregnancy lasted too long for me and I was suffering from vaginitis, so I asked my OB if he could just induce labor and he decided to go along with it.
My appointment for my induction was Friday, April, 17 2009 at 7:30. I had to wait for a while so the nurse decided to put me on pitocin. Before too long the labor pains started... back labor at that... it went on for hours. This one doctor decided to give me an epidural, but he said I was too fat. By that time I was so inconsolable, cussing at doctors and such, so they decided to knock me out and give me a c section.
I woke at about 8PM to the nurse saying, "It's a girl!" I didn't believe it til the next day, when I changed the diaper... Geeze! It really is a girl!
