My birth story

On thursday august 12th I woke up at 4am to terrible contractions. I tried to see if they would go away since I had been suffering from braxton hix for a while come 8am I decided I would take a shower and go do my laundry which I had to do it at the laundry mat. While still having bad contractions I managed to do all my laundry and still go to my scheduled Dr appt at am I told her what I was feeling and she checked me and said I was 4cm dilated and when I felt the contractions 5min apart for me to go into the L&D. So I went home keep in mind I was driving and having contractions, made me a tea to try and calm myself down and I laid down.We got to the hospital around 4:30pm in which they checked me and I was still at 4cm. The nurse made me get up and walk around and came back an hour later and checked me at which I was almost 6cm so they went ahead and called my Dr and moved me to a room. I was in the room for about an hour before I asked the nurse for some pain medicine(around 7:45pm is when I got some med) at 8pm I asked the nurse to check me and I was almost 10cm she rushed to call my Dr who was 3 floors down having dinner. My Dr came in to find me almost pushing she put her gown on and told me to push but the baby was still to high and his heartbeat was dropping so she used suction to help him come out and at 8:18 he was out and crying!
