Savannahs Birth Story

The day I found out I was pregnant was a day i will never forget, when I missed my period I took a pregnancy test, It came out negative, I waited a few more days, still no period, I took a pregnancy test, still negative, everyday i started taking a pregnancy test, i knew something was wrong, either my period was late or the pregnancy test just were not accurate, finally a whole month after my missed period I took a test at night, I waited a few minutes, It came up negative..again..I threw it in the trash, but someething told me to go look again, as I went back n looked there were 2 lines, I couldnt believe it! The day after I went to my doctors and found out I was already 3 months pregnant, I only weighed 85 lbs at the beginning of my pregnancy so the doctors were wonderin why i wasnt showing just one bit & I found out I was due May 6 but everybody thought i was going 2 give birth alot earlier cause i was so big.I had an amazing pregnancy I put on a great amount of weight and had no morning sickness, It felt great to be pregnant.Now into the last month i was told i was not even 1 centimeter dialated, i thought this couldnt be possible, i walked miles everyday, i felt she was going to come out way past her due date. The day of my due date(MAY 6) i was told to come in for a check up, i was only 1/2 centimeter dilated, they told me its ok and she'll come out when ready. I always dreamt of having her by mothers day, that was my wish. During my whole pregnancy I would have dreams of my wonder breaking when I got off my bed, it worried me a little I didnt know what that ment, but sure enough That night (May 6) I walked around my block for 2 hours street, was watchin tv and laying in bed, got up and there it went my water broke at 12:00 midnight May 7, just like how the dream was. My contractions started right away I couldnt take it, Me,My Fiance, and my Mom drove to the hospital were I Sat in Labor for 16 Hours, 3 Doses of Epidural, Throwin up after every contraction and still taking so long to dilate. It was now 2:00 the doctor told me start pushing, I pushed as hard as I could, she still wouldnt come out, I pushed for almost 3 Hours, Here it Was 4:40 and the doctor told me your going to have her by 4:50 I know it, sure enough 4:49 hit and she was born into this world. I never cried so much in my life, she was beautiful and as small as I was only 5 feet and 125 pounds i brought a 8 lb 1 oz 21 1/2 inch baby girl named Savannah Marie. To this day I still remember everything, pain and all but in the end It was all worth it =], I got my wish and a healthy babygirl!
