Birth Stories: No Induction for Me!

One day past due and I feel like Im gonna be pregnant forever... early that morning as I visited my doctor for the 50th time she already decided to schedule an induction to get this baby out of me... there was no way I wanted that to happen so I decided to head out to the mall with my mom for a few hours ( which turned into 10 hrs literally) and as soon as I got home I passed out on my bed clothes and everything an hour after that I felt the worst cramp ever... as i went to the washroom to figure out what this was i realized tht this was happening every 5 mins and wouldnt let up. so i quickly jumped into the shower lol ( didnt want to embarass myself when I got to the hospital considering I passed out on my bed before i got to shower for the night) which was the worst idea possible because I couldnt even stand up ... finally somebody came bursting through the doors and rushed me to the hospital where they told me i was already 7 cm .... i was in complete shock because within 30 mins that changed to 9 cm and i was nowhere near ready for this experience to happen ( but let me tell you it was happening full speed ahead) they put my on a gas mask to help ease the pain but that did not work at all so i screamed for the epidural ( i really did try to go natural but that was not happening) luckily they still gave it to me eventhough it was probably almost over ( at least thts what i thought) after hours of pushing this little girl would not come out... i honestly wanted to scream out just cut me open i cant do it anymore... but my husband would not let me get a c section after all ive been thru and with his help i was able to push out my beautiful baby girl Brooklyn who weighed 8 pounds 2 oz ( was not expecting that one considering i was barely showing or at least thats what i thought lol )
