Ally's Birth Story
Submitted by Melfig
I was eight months pregnant and just 16 years old. It was a high-risk pregnancy. When I first found out, I was super-shocked! What was I going to do? Of course, I told my boyfriend and he got scared and disappeared from my life.
Later, I told my parents. My dad didn't even look at my face for a week! My mother supported me, but she wouldn't let me give the baby up for adoption. And I don't know what got into me, but I told my friend. Guess what, she told her boyfriend. I got so pissed at her! If they broke up, her boyfriend would tell everyone! Fortunately, he moved to Miami, so he didn't tell anyone. At least I think he didn't.
So the time passed, and with time, everyone in school knew I was pregnant. Of course, I stopped school for a while. My mom helped me pass through all the pains.
So, on September 12, I went out to get a massage. I was only eight months pregnant—I wasn't even thinking the baby would come so soon. But it did! I felt mild contractions but thought it was nothing. Wrong! It totally was! My water broke in the car, and my mother just ran to the hospital.
I didn't know if it was a boy or a girl, even though I thought it was a little boy. I didn't see the sex because I wanted it to be a surprise. So, when they told me it was a girl, I just started to cry. The labor had been tough, but I did it. After a lot of tears, I could hold my baby!
School was a problem after that. I wanted to continue school, but how could I? Well, my baby stayed with someone I really trust. My mother, of course! It turned out perfectly! I had a cute baby with big blue eyes, who wouldn't want that? And today, I'm 19, and I am six months pregnant with twins. My new boyfriend is the father of my babies. It is actually Ally's father, too! He came back to me to say he was sorry, and we fell in love again!
