Ally's Brothers' Birth Story
Submitted by Melfig
I have written another birth story, called "Ally's Birth story." Well, anyone who read it knows that in the end, I got pregnant. With twins! Isn't that great? I got SO excited when I found out! Only the mother of twins know what I'm talking about.
I was wondering if they were boys or girls ... hoping there was a boy, because I already have a 3-year-old daughter, Ally. Well, when the doctor told me the news, I just got hyperactive! (Oh, did I mention I'm only 19?) Well, anyways, they were born! And this time, they will know their father. I'm not married, but I have a boyfriend. Well, the pregnancy was accidental, but I didn't get the least bit upset!
OK, so I was in my room, relaxing and watching a movie. I was aware of mild contractions ... because in my last pregnancy, I got mild contractions, and Ally was born. So I panicked when I felt pains. Especially at that time, for I was almost nine months pregnant. So in the middle of a police movie, I felt something. I quickly called my boyfriend, a Canadian guy called Peter. I told him I was going to the hospital, and he just thought I was overreacting. Well, I didn't listen to him. I rapidly got a big blue bag and stuffed it with the baby clothes and accessories I bought. And after that, I ran to my car, and drove to the hospital. Usually I'm a careful driver, but I really rushed at that moment. I knew I had plenty of time, but I just wanted everything to be perfect!
So when I got to the doctor, everyone let me pass because I was pregnant. That is always the good part ... haha! So they quickly got me a room. The people in the hospital were really competent, and I was super-happy. Well, I was sure the babies were going to come! And the doctor said that as well, so I called my parents and my boyfriend, the only people I wanted to be there! So they gave me drugs, and I lay there, wondering when my family were going to get here, and feeling a little pain. Everything was going as I planned, for I am good at organizing things and making them happen.
OK, everything was going perfectly until the babies started to come! Nobody was in the room, including my parents and my boyfriend Peter! Oh boy ... I was nervous! I called the nurse, and she came. I was screaming, "Where is the doctor? Where is he?" the whole time. She said he was busy, but she was going to call him. But I didn't want to stay alone in that room, so I told her to do labor herself. Her fear scared me, and I was really afraid something could go wrong. But luckily, the real doctor soon appeared. But where were the people I called? I really wanted them to see the babies being born. But they didn't make it.
After a lot of screaming and a lot of pain, one baby appeared. Crying and crying ... oh! That poor little thing! He was so beautiful! I wanted to cry, lots and lots! But I pushed, and the other baby appeared. They had really white skin, and at that moment I didn't see the color of their eyes. But it really didn't matter! They were beautiful! I was exhausted, and I needed rest.
I needed my mother! Where was she? As I wondered, I looked at the door, and guess who was there? Mom and Dad! But they weren't with Peter. My mom only looked, but soon she could talk to me. Oh-oh, bad news! The baddest news EVER! They said Peter ... they said he called them and said he didn't want to raise the babies anymore! WHAT? That stupid guy! I hate him sooo badly! I was astonished! In a bad way! But it was OK. I raised Ally very well, so I could raise the twins!
