I woke up Sunday morning having what I thought were regular pain and cramps, but they began to get worse as the morning progressed. At about 10 AM, I told my husband to pick out some clothes for my oldest daughter so that she could go to church with my mum because we had to head to the hospital.
I took my time because we live like three minutes away from the hospital and the pain was still bearable. When we reached the hospital and they checked me in, it was about 11:30. The pain began to tear inside me. I could not believe it. They gave me an enema and told me to stay in the bathroom for at least an hour. Well, within 10 minutes, I was in full-bloom labor and they had to rush me out of there and quickly onto the bed.
I was 9 cm and my water had not burst yet. The nurse quickly came in and with three pushes, out came my baby girl. That was the most terrible pain I have ever gone through in my life!
