Breastfeeding Issues: Breast Preference During Breastfeeding
This breastfeeding issue isn't that uncommon. Babies sometimes develop a preference for one breast over the other. The issue could be that your milk flows more easily from that breast, or perhaps your baby prefers the view from one side over the other. (Maybe she can see the television or a window from one position but not the other.)
One way to deal with this breastfeeding issue is to use a slide-over hold. When the baby is finished nursing on one side, simply slide her over to the other breast without turning her body. This way she can maintain her preferred position and still nurse on both sides.
