Are These Medications Safe? What about Breastfeeding?

My Dr. has me on Effexor and Xanax. He says they are safe this far along (7mo.) but I'm really freaked out by what I've read online about them. I want to breastfeed but I'm not sure about risk to my baby. Please share any experiences or opinions.
